The Jane in a former Military Chapel is a restaurant of it's kind!

This used to be Sergio Herman's baby, today the 2 Michelin Star Chef cook Nick Bril  is in charge of the  kitchen.

The kitchen team uses fresh and local indgredients. The atmosphere is really, really special and the fantastic food an unforgettable experience.

  • buy your wife a Diamond...or two....! See the Diamond Museum
  • walk through the old village of Antwerpen and taste all the delicacies
  • take a boat tour through the Harbour, the second largest Harbour of Europe
  • go to Grote Market
  • walk along the Schelde River
  • Antwerpen is a Fashion town, check out the stores of Ann Demeulemeester or Walter van Beirendonck

The Jane

At the beginning, this was Sergio Hermans pride….

The Jane is set in the former chapel of the Military Hospital. The chapel as well as the surrounding site have been completely renovated after years of emptiness. Piet Boon took care of the restaurant’s design and together with various artists and craftspeople he made sure The Jane became a real gem.

Today, the 2 Michelin star Chef Nick Bril is head of the kitchen.  His signature style is still influenced by Sergio Herman. The kitchen Team uses fresh and local indgredients. The atmosphere is really, really special and the fantastic food an unforgettable experience!
